Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS HCP)

Our Instructors currently provide instruction in BLS (CPR), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Our BLS programs consist of the Healthcare Providers CPR for professional rescuers, and the Heartsaver™ series of programs for the lay public. Heartsaver™ programs include CPR, AED use, and First Aid.

Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (BLS HCP)

The American Heart Association CPR program for personnel working in healthcare.

Course Description:

This class teaches CPR for all age groups including the use of barrier devices , AMBU bags, AED use and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO). One and two rescuer CPR techniques are taught during this program.

Target Audience:

Physicians, nurses, EMT’s and paramedics, firefighters, police officers, nurse aids, medical or nursing students, respiratory therapist, or other allied health personnel.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
